The High School section of TERRANOVA is geared towards an atmosphere of respect, trust and good treatment, where student’s critical thinking skills and initiative are stimulated and valued.
In order to consolidate the education of an internationally minded person, they continue to learn English as a second language, so that by the end of high school students reach a C1 level, which allows them to successfully take the TOEFL test. In addition, we teach French as a third language, with the goal of students completing their baccalaureate with an A2 level, which allows them to make basic use of this language.
From 7th grade to 1st of baccalaureate, students belong to the Middle Years Program (MYP) of the International Baccalaureate Organization (OBI). This program focuses on strengthening learning skills through studying diverse subjects, always in context with the real world, and establishing interdisciplinary connections.
During the years corresponding to second and third year of baccalaureate, all TERRANOVA students carry out the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. This is a pre-university course that lasts two years and allows students to acquire knowledge and develop skills necessary to succeed in college education.
The high school infrastructure is wide and functional. All classrooms are equipped with projectors, computers and audio systems. We have specialized spaces for music, art, computers and three fully equipped science labs.
